Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver D O'Connell admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300m placing his runner on to the sulky of THE GREEK FREAK causing his own horse to break hampering a trailing runner and losing ground. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.

After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 4 March up to and including 26 March 2026 (4 days).
